The Daily Snob lives on

Hey, my name is Vince Guglielmi and I’ve been writing about punk, hardcore, metal and hip hop for over a decade now.

I’ve decided to take writing more seriously after years of blogging sporadically and reviewing music in a volunteer capacity. Substack seems like an interesting platform to grow my audience and find cool shit to read.

Music journalism will be my main focus but I’m going to try and publish as often as possible, so you will likely get random attempts at creative writing and political screeds as well. Hopefully that sounds cool and I also hope I can publish often enough to make this worth everyone’s while.

I also plan on archiving my old writing from my last blog (The Daily Snob) and my semi-active podcast (Death Metal Discharge) in this space. I’m quite excited for the possibilities offered on Substack I hope you are excited enough about my excitement to subscribe!
